After accepting your assignment, new timesheets will be generated every Thursday for you to complete. You will only need to claim for the hours that you have worked.

Payment is one week in arrears, please make sure to submit your timesheet before the payroll deadline which is 23.59 each week on Tuesday. Timesheets submitted before this time will be processed with that week's payroll and paid on Friday.

Timesheets submitted after the payroll deadline will be processed with the next available payroll and paid on the next available pay date.

More information on how to complete your timesheet can be seen in the video linked below:

Accepting an offer and completing your timesheet

Do I have to submit a timesheet if I haven't worked?

No. You only need to submit hours for the weeks you work.

Do I have to submit a timesheet if I haven't worked due to sick leave?

Yes. If you have not worked due to being ill, you must notify your hiring manager of this and you can claim your hours as normal.

Will GTAs be told towards the end of their assignment if they have any hours left that they have not claimed yet?

No, you should review your workplan and ensure you claim for the hours you have worked on a weekly basis. Your hiring department can advise, if there are any hours left, whether there are any activities that they still wish you to perform. It is possible that you will not be asked to work all the hours in your workplan if the planned activities are not required. In which case, you will NOT be paid these hours.

What happens if I attend a teaching session, but no students turn up?

You should submit the hours for the session in your timesheet.  You may wish to ask your line manager if there are other activities that you could undertake during this time.
