Do I need an additional King’s ID card to work as a GTA?

As members of staff, GTAs who are King’s students will be able to use their existing student ID card for any staff security access needed.  Any specific access required for your GTA role will simply be added to your existing ID card by your department. You will be able to obtain a lanyard for your ID card that indicates that you are a member of staff, if you choose to do so.  These are available from reception areas of most buildings or may be provided during your GTA induction.

I’m an external GTA.  Will I receive a King’s ID card?

Hiring managers will arrange for external GTAs to receive an ID card as part of your induction.  You will be able to obtain a lanyard for your ID card that indicates that you are a member of staff, if you choose to do so.  These are available from reception areas of most buildings or may be provided during your GTA induction.
