Assignment FAQ's

1. I am trying to offer an assignment to a specific GTA who is registered on King’s Teachers. I can see their name in the search function but can't select them for an assignment. Why is this?

GTAs who haven’t completed their registration fully can’t be offered an assignment.  Please check their profile to ensure that they are fully compliant and have provided bank details, so they can be offered an assignment.

2. Can I withdraw hours from the workplan for timetabled teaching that does not occur because students do not turn up?

No. The employee was available to teach, reserved the time for the teaching and potentially travelled to the location. The GTA may wish to ask the line manager if there are other activities that could be undertaken during the teaching session.

3. What do the coloured icons against individual GTA profiles registered on King’s Teachers mean?

The icons show if the GTA is 'Compliant' (Green), or 'Non-Compliant' (Red). 'Currently Working' (Grey) means that the GTA is compliant and working elsewhere within Keystone i.e. King's Talent Bank. You can prompt an individual GTA to complete their Right to Work check, by clicking on their profile and clicking on the 'Request Documents' button. King's Teachers then send the GTA an email reminder.

4. How do I access assignments for GTAs that I want to manage on the King's Teachers platform?

You will need to be registered as a Hiring Manager on King's Teachers. You will be able to see a GTA's assignment if you are named as either Administrator 1 or Administrator 2 in their assignment. Note that the person named as the invoicing contact will receive reporting information only.

5. My candidate has completed their ID Pal checks when can I see them as compliant and offer them an assignment?

Once the candidate completed their ID Pal checks, please allow 48 hours (for busy periods) after the checks have been completed to review their profile and offer an assignment.
